Excellent, I take it on the motorcycle, packs down to nothing. Cost £24!?? total bargain. I like: 2 skin = no probs with condensation, nice air vents (with bug mesh), nice double door (bug mesh), easy to erect, clever and simple, the one piece inner tent clever complete with black ground sheet, good size for me and bike kit. I've been in heavy showers, minor leak on the outer seam but not a problem.

Ok for good weather. Didn't fend off the cold too well unless you shut yourself in from early in the evening. Awkward access getting in and out after a long days walking and missed having a sheltered doorway for cooking etc,there is a wind break style to the door but this affords little space and creates an added reach problem when zipping up and unzipping from within.

I bought this for bike camping and to use on my own although two people on mats could sleep in it (and do nothing else).
Importantly for me, the sections of the poles are short enough that you can refold it to lie along the top of a pannier rack. Also, once you replace all but the four flysheet corner pegs with aluminium or plastic ones it's fairly light.
Like RAF35Y, I paid £15 in that shop, thinking anything is good for fifteen quid. It's a fine wee tent. The finishing is a bit rough round the edges but the seams are taped and it was waterproof in heavy rain.
Pitching inner first was annoying but it's so quick to get up it's not much of an issue unless the rain is heavy.
The little porch area keeps the door dry and give a little area for gear or cooking.
I did find that there was a lot of condensation, but it's a great tent for £15.

Bought the Higear Ion 2 about a month ago. Very compact and light. Has a built in vent on outer skin. Not sure what the function is for because the gap between each skin is very small. If you touch them they stick together. Also the condensation was terrible. It was wet through. I thought the double skin was to tackle this problem! But for £35 quid don't suppose you get the Ritz.

Just thought I'd review this as at £14.99 (mrp £40 but it is always on offer at gooutdoors) it's a bargain. For that you get a 2 skinned tent with a small storage area, and its very small and light.
The down side is its inner up first and the air gap to the fly sheet is quite small and if windy does touch. I used it for a week great!
